Research
The lab is part of the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) located in the Research Triangle Park (RTP) in North Carolina, US. The area is delimited by the cities of Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill, home to the North Carolina State University (NC State), Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chaple Hill (UNC).
The strong RNA community of the area organizes meetings to discuss research progress every month. The location alternates between UNC and Duke, but researchers from the area including the NIEHS are welcomed to participate. Every two years the North Carolina RNA society organizes a conference with participants from different states of the east coast.
