We had a fantastic summer get-together with the lab earlier this month. It was great to spend some time outside the institute with all the lab members, friends, and family. Marine has been the best host at her stylish home in downtown Raleigh. The food was delicious, and the creme brulee for dessert was exquisite. The short rain in the afternoon brought down the inclement heat of the North Carolinian summer and made it very pleasant to be outside on the porch. Also, we now have some decent group pictures. Finally! I am already looking forward to our next get-together in the fall.
